For a special treat, I bought tickets to the DIVINE DINNER at Cooks Chapel at the Anaheim Packing House. This is a new event that allows local chefs to demonstrate their culinary chops and for BXCR Wine Bar, also in the Packing House, to market their selection of wines. It is also a great way to interact with your neighbors and make new friends as you are seated in a family/community style manner.
Tonight’s guest was Chef Chris Mahler, the chef of Vaca in Costa Mesa, CA.
We were treated to an amazing 4-course meal with wine pairings.
On the menu:
– Heirloom Beet & Burrata Salad
– Brown Butter Roasted Salmon
– Berkshire Pork Chop
– Pumpkin Panna Cotta
